Matteo Alfonsi is an Italian architect born in Rome and based in London.

His multidisciplinary practice spans digital media and traditional painting, exploring the intersection between abstract art, modernism, and architectural culture.

Influenced by early 20th-century avant-garde movements—including Futurism, Vorticism, Russian Constructivism, and the Bauhaus—Matteo’s work draw from modernist architecture’s emphasis on geometry and rhythm to translate ideas of form, space, and structure into dynamic, abstract compositions.

Dynamism, war, simultaneity, speed are some of the futurists main motifs and they are still very relevant in today's life.

DETTAGLIOFUTURISTA is a project born in 2021 as an extension of Matteo artistic activity on fabric printing.
